Students compete to build fun creatures without the other players knowing what they are building! Builds are categorized into creature types with specific features. Throw your opponents off your trail by requesting pieces you don’t need, and keep track of all information being shared! Modeled after the board game Guess Who.

Students create passwords for school applications and personal use all the time, but are those passwords secure? Challenge students to create memorable yet secure passwords that are difficult for hackers to replicate!

Online Activities
Find the Letter
This is a four player activity led by a host/scanner. This activity uses the LEGO color sensor and double motor. Players take turns ‘scanning’ a letter using the double motor/color sensor. This builds a profile of the letter that everyone gets to see. On their turn, players can choose to edit the data from their scan. At the end, everyone tries to guess what the real letter was!

Find the Hacker (find the letter v2)
This activity is an evolution of find the letter. Students can now choose the trajectory of their scan. Only one hacker is present and can edit one scan throughout the game. At the end, the players try to guess the letter and figure out who the hacker was/which scan was tampered with.

Mystery Moves
Using the IMU in the Double Motor, students navigate to different rooms in a simple 2ft by 2ft maze. Their partner must guess which room they ended in. Students are encouraged to cover their tracks/traffic by driving into different rooms and obscuring their path.

Hash Lab
This activity allows students to explore how hashing and encryption are used to conceal and protect messages sent across the web. Encryption protects the contents of your message, while hashing protects the integrity and security of the message. Students can build their own hashing algorithm and test how an interception affects the hash.

Man in the Middle
This activity is an evolution of Hash Lab where students are actively defending against a real Man in the Middle Attack! Player A and B can create their own hashing algorithm and encryption method. Player A quizzes Player B with encoded math problems, while the Interceptor must crack their encryption and get player B to respond to a question of their creation!

Buggy, Broken, or Breached
Two players compete against each other: one as the programmer and one as the hacker. The programmer programs a robot to complete a series of moves, which the hacker can edit alongside motor turning and speed settings. The programmer must figure out what the hacker changed, while also trying to detect built-in mechanical failures. Was their robot buggy, broken, or breached?
