Converted existing biomimicry curriculum for use with LEGO Science and LEGO Spike.

Focused on middle school students with a range of difficulties, the mixing, fanning, and digging placemats are on the easier side while the grasping, shade cover, and flinging are on the harder side. 

There were some placemats the worked with the craft materials that didn’t work well with LEGO, such as seed dispersal or shock absorption, so we created three new ones with LEGO specifically in mind (See Nathan and Jack Placemats)

We created a variety of examples for the placemats (see BAA building examples), which are being used for the other placemats. 

The use case for this is in middle schools who already have Spike/Science kits, and want relatively short, 2-4 class period activities or something for an after school club, rather than a full curriculum like the original biomimicry unit.
